I love adding spinach to a smoothie as a way to sneak some greens into my day. The bonus is my toddler loves this as much as I do!

Ingredients

  • Banana: A ripe banana provides natural sweetness and creaminess to the smoothie.
  • Frozen Pineapple: Pineapple adds a tropical twist to this smoothie and helps mask the spinach taste.
  • Spinach: Get your greens in.
  • Milk: I love milk as the liquid in this recipe because it makes it creamy. Substitute for plant-based milk, water, or coconut water.
  • Greek Yogurt: Makes it extra creamy and adds protein.
  • Add-Ins: To get the most out of this smoothie, you can add avocado, chia seeds, hemp hearts, flax seeds, or the nut butter of your choosing.

You will also need a blender. I like to use a high-powered blender (I LOVE my Vitamix) when making a green smoothie because it helps make the spinach smooth.
