Homemade Pistachio Latte Recipe
- Making your own latte is budget-friendly!
- Customize your drink to your liking.
- This copycat Starbucks pistachio latte has all of the joy from the comfort of your own home.
Enjoy this latte with your baked oatmeal or peach muffin for the perfect morning treat.
Ingredients
- Espresso: Use your favorite espresso. My go-to is the Bianco Doppio in my Nespresso, but any espresso will work (even instant espresso!). No espresso? Brew a cup of very strong coffee (I have used the smallest cup setting on a Keurig before).
- Milk: Use the milk of your choice.
- Pistachio Syrup: Make your own pistachio syrup with just three simple ingredients; sugar, water, and pistachios (I do like to add a hint of almond extract too). Keep it in your refrigerator for 1-2 weeks. In a pinch you can use a store-bought syrup like Monin.
You will also need a milk frother. No milk frother? You can also heat up the milk on medium-low on the stove.
How to Make a Pistachio Latte
- Prepare espresso.
- Froth your milk.
- Combine the espresso, milk, and pistachio syrup!
To make this latte iced, skip the milk frothing and pour all the ingredients over ice.

Sounds so lovely! I had no idea there was a pistachio syrup. There is a similar drink at Starbucks and I would love to try making this at home.
