1poundbroccoli floretswashed and drained
3tablespoonsolive oil
1lemonzested and juiced
2clovesgarlicminced
¼cupparmesan cheesegrated
salt and pepperto taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
In a mixing bowl, toss the broccoli florets with the olive oil, lemon zest, and garlic until all pieces are well coated.
Spread the broccoli in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Roast the broccoli for 18-22 minutes or until browned and crisp.
Remove the pan from the oven and transfer the broccoli to a serving bowl. Toss the broccoli immediately with lemon juice, grated parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
Broccoli florets should be the same size for even cooking.Ensure broccoli is dry before tossing for crispiest roasted broccoli.
