Today we officially embark on our renovation journ Today we officially embark on our renovation journey, and I am so excited!

Goodbye, broken down cabinets and the worst laminate ever. You were good to us while we had you, but I’m not gonna miss you 👋
The final adventure was Sydney 💕 I had low ex The final adventure was Sydney 💕

I had low expectations because I heard over and over again that it was just another city. But in reality, Sydney blew us away ❤️

We went to a farmers market in the rocks, walked to the Opera House, and took a bus ride to Bondi Beach (where hubby got his first tattoo!).

There was so much to see so much variety and we just loved it. I could’ve easily explored for another week! We finished off the trip with a ferry out of the Sydney harbour over the Manly Beach. Such a great way to end the trip!
One of the highlights of the trip was breakfast wi One of the highlights of the trip was breakfast with Koalas at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

The experience here absolutely blew all of our expectations out of the water. We got to see and pet several koalas and learned so much about them.

The rest of the wildlife sanctuary was awesome too. Feeding kangaroos, seeing the monsterous saltwater crocodile, and taking the train around… It was a great day!
Burleigh Heads… The place in Australia that fina Burleigh Heads… The place in Australia that finally stole a piece of our hearts 💕

This was the last stop in our RV and I wasn’t even interested in staying in the Gold Coast, but I’m so glad we did. This little surfer town was everything I dreamed of. Little cafes on every corner, the most delicious restaurants, shopping bouquets, but more so a culture of slowing down and enjoying the nature. I was obsessed with the locals and the way they lived outdoors.

Immediately Chris and I turned to each other and said, we will be back.
As the adventure continues… We ended up in Herve As the adventure continues… We ended up in Hervey Bay!

This stop was picked along the way as it was a good stopping distance and to go to Fraser Island. Unfortunately we learned that you cannot go to Fraser Island with an infant. On the bright side, our RV site was literally on the ocean which was magic 💕

We did not have the best weather on the trip, and it was a classic sunny beach day. But we made the best of it and enjoyed the beach anyways! We had chill days at the beach, man did the littles love the beach.

And all was good until we met in the camp kitchen and out of nowhere the storm of all storms came out. We huddled under as each person figured out what they needed to take care of. My hubby took off his shirt (since we were getting drenched in 2 seconds) and ran back to the RV to pull in the awning, which already broke under the weight of rain 😅. We ended up piling in the back of a campervan and went to a pizza shop 2 blocks away for some *chefs kiss* pizza.

All in all, it was an adventure as always and we were definitely happy for some beach time!
The next stop of our adventure was the Whitsundays The next stop of our adventure was the Whitsundays. So iconic and for good reason 🏝️

We got lucky on the day of our tour that we got a break in the rain. We sailed from Airlie Beach to Whitehaven beach and the ocean was stunning. We hiked up to the lookout and while the tide was in, it was still beautiful. Then we relaxed at Whitehaven beach which was the warmest, clearest water I’ve ever seen.

On the way back we stopped along the Great Barrier Reef for some snorkeling.

Unfortunately our heli tour was cancelled the next day due to weather. But all in all this stop was still a win (sunburns and all 😜)
