I was so excited to put together a Christmas Themed December Plan With Me! I love the holiday season and it was so fun to fill my bullet journal with Christmas doodles!
Title Page
I always start my month off with a title page. Something to start off the mood for the month. On the left page I will include a quote. Sometimes the quotes will be inspiring, sometimes they will be funny, sometimes they just give me an opportunity to practice my calligraphy! On the right page I include the month with doodles for whatever theme I have chosen for the month.
I have been feeling so joyful leading up to the holiday season. So I chose a song lyric as my quote this month… “It’s the most wonderful time of the year”!
On my title page I doodled all the Christmas doodles I could dream up! I am thrilled with the way it turned out!
Monthly Log
I kept my monthly log very simple this month. I know I have a lot going on so I wanted a simple looking monthly log. This way it will not become overwhelming when I migrate my tasks from my future log.
I did a simple line by line horizontal monthly log. I like to highlight the days on the weekend to make the week by week breakdown more visual. This also helps me see if I have a lot going on during the week versus the weekend.
Habit Tracker
Normally I will put my habit tracker on the page adjacent to my monthly log but I had a vision for my December Christmas themed habit tracker. I wanted to put my habit trackers in Christmas Ball decorations!
I initially tried to do this on the page beside my monthly log but it did not fit. So this month my habit tracker is on a 2 page spread. I also like having the trackers as separate monthly calendars instead of an excel spread style, so this months theme is keeping with that trend.
I think it turned out so cute!
Weather Tracker and Gratitude
I always like to have a weather tracker and gratitude log in my monthly collections. These have becomes staples to my bullet journal!
I kept the layout the same as last month. They are very simple and I just drew in the colors from the rest of my theme. I look forward to filling out my weather tracker every night. I also love finding something to be grateful for every day!
Christmas Collections
With the busy holiday season coming up I wanted to include a couple Christmas bullet journal spreads. I knew I needed a gift tracker but I also wanted something a little more fun! I decided to add an advent calendar.
Christmas Activities Advent Calendar
I cannot get enough of advent calendars! I love the Christmas spirit and I love that an advent calendar brings us back to having Christmas spirit everyday.
At first I thought I would have an advent calendar that was a color a box a day. I looked up different ideas and different patterns. But I wanted to take it one step further… I wanted more than just something to color in everyday. I decided to create an activities advent calendar spread!
The spread itself is very simple. I wrote down 24 ideas and every day in December I will complete one of these activities. I thought about having a more structured advent calendar but I like the flexibility in this one. At any given day I can complete any given task. Once the task is completed I will highlight the writing. I look forward to using this every day!
Gift Tracker
To keep track of my gift ideas, what I have purchased, and then also what gifts I receive, I created a gift tracker!
I wanted to create something a little more fun than a basic table. By drawing tags I am not taking up a lot of space in the gift tracker so I can maximize the space. I have done previous gift trackers in a present shape, and while they were cute I lost a lot of writing room. On each tag I will write what I am gifting to the person in the “to” section. In the “from” section I will write what I was gifted.
My husband and I are going to Hawaii in January. We decided instead of buying each other gifts we would do something extra fun in Hawaii! We are still doing stocking though as they are so fun to put together! When creating a stocking there is a lot of thought and small gifts that go into them and I wanted a place to track all of my ideas. This way when we are out and he mentions he wants something I can discretely jot it down for later!
Weekly Spread
I kept my first weekly spread of the month the same as last month. I have been playing around with weekly spreads but I love the functionality and good use of space of this one.
I do not typically do daily logs so I find the to do list in this weekly very valuable. I also like not having to write a to do item down on one day and then have to transfer it every day until it gets done.
