Ingredients

cup
sugar
1
tablespoon
dried lavender flowers

cups
water
divided

cups
freshly squeezed lemon juice
ice
Instructions
In a small bowl, rub the sugar and dried lavender flowers together with your fingers.
Add sugar and lavender flowers to a saucepan with 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute while stirring continously to dissolve sugar.
Remove from heat and allow to steep for 30 minutes.
Strain lavender flowers from simple syrup. Add strained simple syrup to a pitcher with remaining 5 cups of water and freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Add ice to pitcher and serve immediately.
Notes
Ensure dried lavender is culinary lavender.
