These DIY gift boxes are easy to put together and look gorgeous. Impress your family and friends with this DIY gift box!
I love coming up with a series of thoughtful gifts for another person. I find it so fun to shop and curate many little things to form one themed gift. In the past I would throw all of these items in a gift bag.
This year I decided to create these beautiful gift boxes. It did not take any more time than had I thrown everything in a gift bag and it looks so stunning! These handmade gift boxes also give the feeling of a more homemade Christmas gift or DIY Christmas gift so it feels more personal.
These DIY Gift Boxes can be created like in the picture with everything unwrapped which creates a stunning visual appeal. Alternatively you can wrap each individual present and then still place them strategically. For Christmas I wrapped each individual present as I thought it would be more fun for the recipient to unwrap multiple little gifts.
How to Make a DIY Gift Box
Gift box making is very simple with a big impact. First I will decide based on the person I am gifting to which theme I would look to go with (check out the list of ideas below!)
I will then begin my shopping. I will first go out and buy a box that will serve as my base. This is an important first step as it will help determine the size of gifts you can buy. I have purchased all of my gift boxes from my local dollar store. I will also purchase the shredded paper from the dollar store as my filling.
Then I will do the fun part! I shop for all the gifts for the gift box. The more creative the better!
Lastly you just throw it all together. I first fill the box with the shredded paper. Then I start placing the gifts in the box until I am happy with the way they look!
